I have such a busy day tomorrow, full morning of appointments, including a crown prep, which takes 1 hr 30 mins on its own! And the whole afternoon taken with a single pt, new to my dentist and I, who has a whole raft of restorations that need doing, against our advice he decided to have them all done in one go, as he can’t find or afford the time for multiple visits, so he’ll be in the chair for 3 hrs, poor man, imagine holding your mouth open for 3 hrs!!! Not to mention he will have local anaesthitic in all for quadrants, he is going to have such sore muscles and my back will be agony tomorrow evening!!!
I have an embroidered yarn on felt ACEO, framed for additional interest.
A perfect gift for a pigeon fancier, nature lover or as a Father’s Day gift!
That pigeon is fantastic Natalie. You are so very clever. Have you tried needle felting? I am sure you could make some wonderful wildlife pictures given your talents.
Browsing through the threads, I just noticed this thread about special offers. If any of you have items on sale or on promotion, perhaps this could be a good place to show case them?
Thank you Jacqueline, so kind! Have not tried needle felting yet, my daughter is learning it as part of her art and textiles GCSE’s, so maybe she could show me how to do it some time!
Funny you should say that Jacqueline @JAustenJewelleryDesign I was only thinking the other day that maybe I should needlefelt some British wildlife pictures! I have done a couple for some notebook covers before, wasn’t sure whether to go down the bird or animal route though, maybe both if I ever find time! @NOfkantsCurios If you ever decide to take up needle felting make sure you have plenty of time, it is soooo addictive! Also you need a high pain threshold and spare fingers are useful for all the times you stab yourself, it hurts!
I notice I’m on the front page again! Someone likes me anyway, justice for the negativity - I’m not complaining!
My what a busy thread from yesterday took me half an hour to read though click and love, was at a funeral yesterday then had family over in the evening, so sad the chap who passed away was the dad of my daughters friend only 47, we have know them since the girls were 2, he’d been very ill for a number of years, though it was still a shock for the family.
So sorry you are leaving @JellyGiraffe, Julie, my jewellery sales have been dire too, thank goodness for art and paper crafts!
Jeanie, so pleased your Dad is home and doing well. Mine is still in, he seems a bit improved but the infection is proving tough and they are trying a number of different antibiotics which are also affecting his diabetes so he’s very up and down at the moment.
Morning All, just popping in to say I’m out today on appontments and errands so will be back this evening to catch up, have a good day all and lots of sales! Sorry to hear your Dad is still in Max, hope he’s home and well soon x
Morning everyone, I have a sale to report also I’m off to work in a farm shop today where I sell my jewellery (I cover 1-2 days a week) hopefully I will have more than one person in and actually sell something this week :(, not only is the jewellery sales on here dire but I am finding people aren’t parting with there money anywhere!
Hope everyone has a good day and everyone’s families are safe and better soon.
Well done Max, Liz and Jo on your sales! Happy dancing queen for you!
Max, I hope they find the correct combination of antibiotics for your Dad soon, thank goodness he is showing a slight improvement, gives hope that he’ll be on the mend soon.
Stabbing my fingers goes with the territory in this crafting house, LOL so nothing new there and I enjoy learning new crafts, so will pin my daughter down at some point to needled the information out of her, LOL and more puns I can get in there, just felt like it was worth the effort! LOL!
Jacqueline you know you are welcome to come round anytime, master class or no, but I also know how busy you are at the moment, so maybe it’s something we can leave until the summer, when kids are off school and running around in the garden, then we might get a chance to sit together with Eleanor.
Off to my super busy day at work on a moment, not sure if I will be able to pop in from work today, so will catch up with you all this evening!
All clicked and loved to here, a sale for me to report too today

Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Here’s my new listing http://folksy.com/items/6227841-Silver-Square-Rod-Earrings
Morning everyone, I know I am new to this thread but I just had to comment on the criticism that the thread had been getting. On every marketplace there are groups of people like this who work to promote each other and even have groups dedicated to twitter promotion to try and have items trending on there to build sales. There is nothing wrong with helping each other be seen, especially when the retail industry as a whole is struggling. I think you guys are doing a great thing. I pop on and love and pin as much as I can and try to put each item on a suitable board. I have one for art work one for craft supplies and and another for gifts ect…
Anyway… I’ll put my listing up soon, time for a cuppa first I think
Morning all - A relist for me this morning - Beautiful Butterflies - not many around at the moment - still very damp and drizzly. Will be back later to read the news pin and tweet etc. - now off to make the porridge - Maureen
