Hi people, I sell some chocolate items, however as I make to order, how do I set up for a person to order more than the available qty, which I have put at one to start with, Help please.

I am fairly new here but maybe you can use the ‘add or edit variations’ to offer a choice of quantities. I have used this to offer choices on some of my items.

Hi Jim,
When I’ve had made to order items I’ve put the quantity in at 10, then increased it back to 10 after each sale. Maybe set it at the max you could make with current supplies or something? You could always add a line to the listing to say that the customer contact you if they want to order more than is available.

Hi Carol, thank you for your reply. I am aware of the variation facility, but it does not overcome my little problem. It would be helpful if you could have a way of showing a quantity of “1+” or “more than 1”

You could just write it in the text and say “If you would like multiple items, please message me before placing your order”.
