Paypal getting started

Hi, I’m a wee bit confused getting this set up. I haven’t opened my shop yet so unsure if this is part of the problem. When a buyer clicks to check out, do I send an invoice to them? I downloaded the Paypal app but it doesn’t have all the info so I use the browser. Also I ticked to override postage charges & changed the ranges from £0.01 to £10, then £10.01 to £30 but it doesn’t save this & I get a message saying the 2nd range has to be one currency point more than the previous range which is what I’ve done. Help much appreciated!

You shouldn’t have to send them an invoice unless they have problems paying, which is normally rare. They would normally just be re directed to Paypal from Folksy checkout. I have never had to change any settings in Paypal so not sure about the over riding of postage charges…I’m sure someone else will be along soon to help with that one.

Thanks Kim, that is really helpful, I’m maybe over complicating this lol!

You only need to change things in PP if you are using on your own website. As using on Folksy you out the postage on your items when listing, the totals are then picked by PP. customers go there direct when they check out.

Thanks for clarifying. Its not always obvious what you need to do.
