Does anyone know how you get featured in the personalised gifts guide that came out in the Folksy “Make it Personal” email yesterday. I have added the tag “Personalised Gifts” and “Personalised Gift” to a couple of my products to see if that would include me, but it doesn’t seem to be this.
Unlike Theme of the Day, which just works from tags, items for gift guides are selected by Folksy staff. Of course, if you have good tags this will help them see your items when they look for things to choose.
Thanks for the advice Helen, but my tags all have the word “personalised” in, as do my titles and descriptions, so I’m sure at least one of my items would be visible if Folksy staff searched. It would be good if one of the the staff who select the items for these guides could offer some advise.

I’ve already read that Kim, and it says with regards to Folksy Favourites and Gifts Guides - "to always make sure your images are in focus, sharp and well framed ". My images are 2000 x 2000 pixels and 96 dpi, so by my reckoning they qualify. I would have thought that my items would have been ideal for the recent personalised gifts email, so I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. It would be great if a Folksy Gift Guide selector could shed some light.
