Any thoughts on best way to photograph my work? Currently I use my iPhone which has a good camera but struggle with close ups of details, would a camera with zoom be better? My craft items of drop spindles can be quite long
I only use an iPhone and find the pinch to do close ups is perfect. Just let the camera reset itself before taking the picture.
Have a friend who is a photographer he only uses his iPhone now as much lighter.
I currently use my android phone to take photos but the best purchase that has improved my photos and made the whole process quicker and easier was buying a light box.
I couldn’t use my Android as it enhances colours as a default I can’t change.
That is annoying Joy. I just photograph air drop to the iMac and adjust to a square image etc.
Thanks, will persevere! I have a light box as well and will have to make time to experiment with it

I also use an iphone, I put it on a tripod as my hands arn’t steady enough and use one of those shutter things (can’t remember what they are called) on my wrist to take the photograph. I edit my photos on my tablet in google photos and get really clear close up shots. I have tried everything including 2 super duper cameras of my sons but my iphone gave the best results and the colours were more accurate.
I also use iPhone but don’t always have the best light in my place so use a little light box too.
The only room i can really take mine is in the conservatory, i found a light box changed the colours in the mohair so fortunately I can take them without.
