Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving the sunshine but it has literally taken me all afternoon to work out a way to get some decent pictures of 3 tiny hair clips!! Too much shadow, even Snapseed couldn’t fix it. Finally managed something like decent but not without the help of birch poles, balancing a piece of card and a lot of editing. Probably should have just waitied for a cloudy day in hindsight haha! Anyway to get to the point, any light box recommendations? Thank you in advance, Ana x
I use the Sanoto Light Box 16 x 12 inches and it’s been great. Would like to invest in the larger one now although the smaller one does suffice for jewellery and smaller items. https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/152907997732?chn=ps&adgroupid
I’ve had the same problem today, my photo’s were not brilliant.
Thanks, your photos all look great!
I’ve got a really cheap & cheerful light box that I bought from EBay a few years back.
It even came with a variety of back ground cloths but I tend to just use the bright white one.
I used a bright lamp at first, but now I find if I sit by the window in the living room the natural light, and the light box work perfectly together.
I do have horizontal blinds which I can tweak as well which helps a lot. I can filter as much light as I need. Totally dull days are abit of a no show though.
I had to take my photos today in the rooms on the back, North facing side of the house as the south was just too, well, Blue !
Are you taking your photos on your phone cam or using a digital camera? If you are using the latter, you can control the white balance effectively in shot from the menu.
