I send my parcels first class signed for in uk is there anywhere that I can record/show the tracking number on the customers order. I can on my other site so they can see where it is in transit or how it’s been sent. I can’t seem to see anything for me to do this or maybe you can’t on here a newbie.
@Thestrollingstitcher I’m afraid there isn’t the facility to put the tracking number on the order, you could email it to them separately (they get an email from folksy when the item is dispatched) along with the info on how it was sent, whether you got the last collection, estimated delivery date. I’ve never had people in the uk that bothered about having the tracking number or not as the signed for service doesn’t provide any intermediate tracking points just where it was posted and whether its been signed for. The packet I sent on friday (first class signed for) is currently ‘progressing through our network’ according to RM with no other details.
@Thestrollingstitcher, You can’t add it directly to the Folksy order but you can add it to the associated PayPal order. When you update PayPal to show that the item has been despatched, it gives you the option to add a tracking number. I assume that this will then appear in the e-mail that the customer receives from PayPal (although I’ve never tried it as I generally don’t send my orders tracked).
Thank you Sasha I just wondered if there was that was all many thanks for getting back to me
