Probably being thick here but I received an email from Folksy saying an overseas buyer would like to purchase one of my items. I would like to reply to the message but I can’t find it anywhere in my Folksy account. How do I find my messages?
You can just reply to the email?
The email is from a no reply Folksy address, not directly from the customer.
I believe you do not need to reply to the message, you just add your postage charges to the relevant boxes if you want to go ahead, or you just ignore it if you wish not to post there.

Yes, as @theslothscavern says, if you would like to accept a sale from overseas, add the relevant postal charges to the item. If you prefer not to, just ignore it. Folksy do the rest. I had one last week, I ignored it and heard no more but it did make me wonder how long you have to reply.
I was just wondering, if someone adds the postage, does the customer get a notification or it is just a matter of them, just going back and check? and if that’s the case, do they know it is up to them to come back and check?
Thank you for the replies, I’ll leave it then as it’s a country I am unable to post to. Feel a bit like I’m ignoring them though!
To confirm, Folksy have stated in the email that they will get in touch with the buyer to let them know either way.
If you update the shipping, they will be sent a message to notify them that they’re now able to buy.
If you don’t update the shipping, after 7 days they’ll be sent a message to let them know it can’t currently be sent to their location (and this timescale is made clear to the potential buyer when they make the request, so they shouldn’t think you’re ignoring them after a few days).
As we see how the feature gets used and any problems that come up, there might be tweaks we make to how it works, but we wanted it to avoid messages between buyer and seller so it can’t be used to try to scam sellers.
Thanks Kim, that’s very useful to know
Brilliant, thank you!
