A few weeks back I posted something about a page on FB called Shop Surrey Designer-Makers. I can’t now find my original post so sorry this isn’t linked to it.
I think it might help if I clarify the parameters for listing on this page:
- you must be making/selling/living in Surrey or nearby borders
- they will only sanction posts if the items you list are totally handmade by you - ie no bought in elements (some of you may remember the octopus debacle on E… a few years back?) and no franchise elements (Disney etc)
- your items must be able to demonstrate that your work is unique and top of the range
you can include your own shop/folksy sites but not links to other Facebook pages
The idea of the page is to encourage top quality merchandise, thus exciting purchasers to keep looking back to check for new and unusual items.
