Am I being daft. Ive seen somebody ask for items that are ‘ready to post’ . Aren’t all items listed for sale ready to post? Or have a missed something?
Kind regards
A crafting idiot.
Some of mine are made to order so people can choose their own colours.
Some personal want a custom order and you need to prepare it.
Whilst lot of my things are made up and ready to post , I also offer custom made lampshades from hard to find vintage fabrics so I don’t put scissors to fabric until an order is placed and paid for - so they aren’t ’ ready to post’ (although quite often I can get them made/posted within 48 hrs )
Its quite common for jewellers to use a photo of a sold piece (I’m thinking specifically rings) with the listing so that people can have it made to order in their size - it means we don’t have to keep a large stock of made up pieces to cater for all the different sizes that might get ordered.
I’ve got shop categories of ‘ready to post’ for ready made things and ‘ready for personalisation’ for custom, or things I need to add to according to the customer.
