Recommendations for keeping copper shiny for longer?

I absolutely love copper, especially when you have oxiadized (sp?) it , then polish it and are left with dark patterns with super shiny copper - I know it’s hard to keep that super shiny finish , I’ve tried Vintaj metal sealant which kind of works on pendants, but not on bracelets and rings - it gets chipped peels, etc. I have also tried renaissance wax/polish but it doesn’t seem to stop it tarnishing again (unless other people have had different rsults?) - is there anyhting else people know of? or should i just accept that it will tarnish.

Also more to the point do you worry about it tarnishing more after a customer has bought a piece from you - it does tend to happen quickly with copper .

thanks

I believe there is a vanish for copper so all you need then to do is wipe it with a soft cloth to dust it. However I don’t know what the vanish is called. But I do know you an buy vanished copper items that you dust with a soft cotton cloth.
