I’m just looking for a little bit help before I open a shop. I sell handpainted wooden mdf gifts, which I purchase from suppliers and then paint them myself. Would these be ok to sell on Folksy as after reading the what to sell I was just looking for a bit more help.

I’m no expert but would have thought that as you are adding value and transforming them it would be fine - after all there are plenty of us selling jewellery made from bought in beads and components where the value has been added by how we’ve put them together. Welcome to Folksy and look forward to seeing your items.
@woodlandblossomcreations I would think that’s fine, as @feelfeltfound mentions no different from some types of jewellery making.
What you wouldn’t be able to do I guess is simply buy in pre-painted items and sell them on with no input from your side, but that doesn’t sound like what you are doing.
