My husband asks is it Bach or Fach because he wonders if buttons are masculine or famine in Welsh.

Also he suggests the happy fastener (Y clymwr hapus)

It’s not mutated, buttons are masculine so it’s bach. Not that I actually knew  - it just sounded right as botwm bach, but I just double checked with my daughter who is home for the weekend and went to Welsh medium school.

Tha happy fastener reminds me of a well known camping company   but it does sound awesome in Welsh. :

The problem is not choosing a name, but find one that’s not already used - especially the English version. My maiden name is Duck and something about little ducks or ducklings would work perfectly for kids products, but so many other companies are using it, including a couple that do kids toys :slightly_frowning_face:

How about duck into childhood or is that too long?

Hubby says duck down for fun?

Little quackers (cwacwyr bach)

Little quackers is already in use, including a childminding service in caerphilly. Even so, I was very tempted by this a while back but coudn’t get the website domain.

Button Duck could be an option, no one seems to be using it - and I could include actual duck buttons in the logo!

I’ll have to think if I can actually manage two sites/shops.

Bumping this thread up again as there are lots of new people that may want to share their shop name stories!
