The Exhibition and the Selling Show are both really wonderful shows and we hope you enjoy looking through them as much as being part of them once they are live. In our opinion, neither one is “better” than the other but they do have each a distinct feel, and we tried to place the pieces in the ones where they fitted best along side the other work. I genuinely love them both and feel really proud of them.
We love the August events - it’s fabulous to see so much exciting art and craft that can be found on Folksy. Thank you everyone @folksycontent and the whole team for all the hard work you put into it

Because of your support and kind words and some other lovely Folksy members support I did enter the exhibition at the very last minute.
My work was included and it’s lightened my spirits. Unfortunately, I am in excruciating pain at the moment and awaiting to see a spinal specialist surgeon for scoliosis in Devon in four weeks time. Looks like I need another major operation on my spine, already had three!
I am hoping we all gain some sales from this year’s event.

Our second annual Folksy Summer Exhibition opens tomorrow!
The exhibition will run throughout August and showcases the amazing artistry, craftsmanship and talent on Folksy. Keep an eye on your inbox to be the first to step through the doors.
But my email about the Summer Show says it is from Next Thursday 8th
AAH I see…The Summer Show is as I had suspected a secondary event…the ‘fine Art’ Exhibition starts tomorrow but the Summer show starts a week later.
How did that little snippet escape me / us ?
Just Wow! I knew there were a lot of talented people on Folksy but I’m honestly blown away by the quality of what I’ve seen so far, I haven’t looked at everything yet but just wanted to say how fabulous everyone’s work looks, I hope you all get many sales, your work is simply stunning.
No need for the imposter syndrome, your necklace looks amazing. What incredibly talented people there are on Folksy, so impressed. Congratulations everyone The exhibition can only be a good thing for everyone who sales on Folksy

Send that imposter syndrome far far away, it doesn’t matter if you are self taught, you have such a wonderful talent, you should be proud of yourself, your work is awesome.
