Just sitting looking at the summer exhibition, wow, even better than last year.
My work is in the other section which starts on the 8th. Currently trying to re vamp my shop now I have a decent device to do some better photography. Looking at the exhibition I will never be as good as the sellers selected.
Hubby keeps trying to keep my pecker up with lots of encouragement to keep going!!!
I’ve just had a look through the summer exhibition, and I think it is absolutely superb in its quality and diversity. I particularly liked the way the pieces had been grouped in specific colours and shades so that it started out with blues, and went through the whole spectrum of shades. A really beautiful touch and congratulations to the organisers and the entrants who were selected. Well done!

As everyone has already said…Wow! The way the show has been curated and presented looks amazing, I also love the way the colours flow and it was the first thing I noticed.
@SashaGarrett me too, I’m self taught, trial and error is a valuable learning experience but we are both artists in our field and I totally agree it’s amazing to be included with such talent on Folksy.
The photographs are all absolutely stunning, I’m so pleased I persevered with it and earnt a place amongst the lovely greens in the exhibtion.
I bought two of your lovely pieces and everyone comments on how beautiful they are.
I have to say the photography in the Summer Exhibition is outstanding, and some of the items and sellers I’ve never seen their work before, so I’ve got a few lined up now for Christmas gifts.
Awww thank you everyone, the Folksy community really is the best. I think I shall always feel like a bit of an imposter but perhaps have to accept that I’m actually not that bad at my tiny little niche and that I have some excellent company in the self taught corner.
