That’s a lovely sketch Stephie, love the way you’ve done the beach.

Hello Everyone

WOW its September already where has the summer gone …

Waving Margaret

Lovely pieces max I do like that blue colour

Great ACEO Stephie

I’ve been busy painting, I have a commission to do and I have set myself another little challenge, I do love a challenge  I’m going to do a couple more of my recent Tree of Life style pictures and make a new online exhibit for my website. I normally do two online exhibit features a year so this will replace the Sunsets I did for the new Year, I am really excited about it as the Trees have had a great response so far and I’m having fun painting them …

Hope you all have a good day …

Great to see you back on the boards @teabreaks Brenda, we missed you

Hazel

Morning all…still got over 100 emails to plough through…hope to be back later with a listing…holidays are good, but catching up with things when you get home is a nightmare !

I like that Brenda, very evocative of the bleak mid-winter!

well after such a hurrendous few months…hubby collapsing and son rushed into hospital for heart surgery…some good news. Our son just sent us a message and although they said 6 weeks more in hospital, he has been told that they are taking him off one of his antibiotics and reducing the other from 6 times a day to 4 times a day…and IF he gets on well and the microbiologist agrees, then he can reduce to once a day and go home in a week for treatment locally…so fingers crossed !!

Sending more hugs x x Jeanie x

Lovely Brenda

I know some of you are reading the Dolls House thread I started recently and today Folksy have decided to take up our suggestion and make a new subsection for Dolls House miniatures, I know both jeanie and Stephie have listed in the section already and I have now moved my exciting stock and added some new ones today, these are just two of my new additions …

Brilliant news Brenda, I’m so pleased to hear it!

Great news that Folksy have taken up the suggestion for a Dolls House section Hazel, hope it brings you more sales

Thanks Margaret

Brenda that’s wonderful news! And a gorgeous snow scene too, very ethereal.

Thanks Margaret

Fab work on getting the dolls house miniatures section in place Hazel, I’ve had a sale from there already

Love your new ones, they look great in the frames.

WOW that’s great news Stephie, well done

Thank you - I do like them in frames - these were ready for the fair in Ictober but I thought I would list them here in the mean time

Well done on the sale Stephie, it sounds like this new section was a very good idea.

Here’s my finished Tiger Head cross stitch. I’m glad to have reached the end of this one!

Here are the two art bar paintings I did yesterday. One some of you will have seen before from FB

Love the butterfly Margaret, I can see you’re going to get along marvellously with the artbars! Fab tiger too. My mum did a lot of cross stitch but I just don’[t have the patience.

I’ve spent a very happy evening designing a mini certificate of authenticity to go with my mini paintings. It’s super cute!

Morning, I think I slept really awkward last night my back and hips are aching this morning feel like Mrs O’Grady :older_woman: old lady today!

Morning All

Hope you feel better soon Max I’ve had a restless night … Lots buzzing in my head at the moment

Your work is wonderful Margaret I especially love the butterfly

Hi Stephie - I have thought about doing some certificates too, can I ask is there some reason you have decided to do this now? When I do a commission - which mostly come direct for me so not via my folksy shop, I send a printed invoice from Art In Wax so this is then a paper trail for the owner of a piece (large or small) I don’t sent invoices if it’s sold via an outlet as that would get confusing for accounting and I always send a leaflet about Art In Wax I have considered doing more of a certificate style receipt.

Lots going on this month, Art Exhibition at the Cliffs Pavilion Southend plus I’m painting for a new online exhibit for my website and still painting for the mini project next month too … It’s been great having such a lot of studio time of late
