The Real Deal - Help advertise Folksy and increase traffic

There is a lovely video on Youtube for The Real Deal weekend which is starting today.
We are very small here on Folksy, but this is how to be seen, share the video today on your social media. If we all do this it will drive a lot of traffic to Folksy and this will help all of us and the lovely business we use.

Lovely video, but it says Making Christmas 2020…

Here is the blog about The Real Deal weekend, if anyone wants to read it:

You don’t have to just be a Plus member to be able to join in with the real deal weekend promotions (Only plus members receive the 0% commission)
On the blog, there are Canva templates that you can use in your promotions.

I have created this basic reel for my Instagram using the templates but you can be more adventurous than this.

Thank you, awesome! I will share this.

Sorry, I tried to share it, but I don’t do Instagram anymore and deleted my account there, so I can’t view it. I’m a Bluesky and Mastodon person (both of which have been very good to me)

I will share all that I see on my socials, I am building up a list of Folksy sellers on those platforms and hope to get enough to create a starter pack on Bluesky soon.

For anyone that does do Instagram here is one of Folksy’s official stories for today:

Sorry if my last message sounded like a negative Nelly! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: I didn’t mean it like that. I will be sharing The Real Deal all weekend in my own way and sharing posts from all the sellers I know too. I have a lot of followers and I hope it helps everyone :crossed_fingers:

Thanks to you and all at Folksy for all your work on this. Much appreciated.

Don’t worry, I didn’t see your post as negative. It’s really nice that you want to promote the real deal weekend.

I personally don’t know much about Bluesky and Mastadon - I must do some research into it

Feel free to ask me about either of them. Mastodon grew exponentially during the mass exodus from Twitter when Elon Must bought the site. At that time Bluesky was very small, but it had a massive surge too after the last US election, when a lot of people left Instagram and Facebook and even more left Twitter. There’s a good audience there. I have found lots of buyers.
