Upgrading Vista to Windows 10

Also I think I’m right in saying that windows 10 does take up a lot more space than vista so I think it would have struggled on my old laptop. Honestly I think it is probably easier to have something new with all the updated technology, features and programmes and they all work well together. I was even having trouble getting anti virus to work properly. Hope that helps a bit

Thanks Claire. I know that eventually I will have to have windows 10. I do like my Vista and know how to work it and my PC and laptop are both very reliable. Also fast as I keep them very clean and tidy. I use them as processors not for storage - I use external hard drives for all my main ‘data’. This does mean that moving to a new machine or even a total upgrade is not too much of a problem as I won’t lose any data.
I do find it better to have both machines on same system so if one throws a wobbly i can sort it via the other… and I Can always sort them out … never had to resort to a computer ‘doctor’ yet,… as long as I have Google I can fix it !
