I have the app on my phone and use the card machine to take payments at my market stall most weekends. It works perfectly although the Bluetooth link to my reader sometimes takes a few more seconds to process than I would like. However last winter at the Xmas Market I work at, there are over 80 thousand people there and its hard to get data signal and when I do get it, the Bluetooth connection also takes minutes to connect to my reader. Thinking about getting a WiFi data dongle to connect my phone to, but not sure it will give me instant access/coverage. Will it be any better than using my phone data. And how can I speed up Bluetooth link to my machine this Xmas.

Most large events have wifi access. Check as the local hall I used to do in the next village always had access to wifi so a stronger signal.
Failing that talk to SumUp to check.
Thanks. However there is no WiFi access. Everyone is using the data. There’s over 100,000 folk at he event and thus data is slow.
