I’d like to be able to put small watermarks on my photos of my paintings, but don’t have a clue where to start! I need something easy to use, and preferably free…any recommendations please?
I use http://www.uconomix.com which is pretty easy and you have a 30 day free trial and I think after that you can do so much free.

My photo editing programme is Picasa which allows me to put my little copyright info discreetly onto my picture, Picasa is a free programme. I also use it to produce a reduced size image which I use on my listings.
