Hi gang, hopefully things will start to calm down for me now, all my Christmas commissions are done and the next two on my books are not due until the New Year.

Good morning, sorry been AWOL for a few days just a bit busy, works Christmas lunch today and then that’s it no more meetings or ‘do’s’ and I’m working in my base office which is just a 30 minute bus ride away up until 23rd and then have a week and a bit off, bliss! will be lovely to be so close to home and my daughter only lives a few minutes from the office so I may even sneak in a few lunch time cuddles 
Ah Margaret I’m sorry to hear your sad news, I hope he recovers well and that he has plenty of people around to support him.

Yesterday’s duck sold, and a facebook friend came up with an even better title so here is “Merry Quackmas!”

It is very quiet on here…I am still painting but right now concentrating a lot on crochet…I have sold quite a few crocheted items on folksy in the last few days but I haven’t sold a painting since September. Thankfully the auction site keeps me going with sales. It is a shame really as I have hundreds of aceos waiting to be listed but it looks likely that they will not be listed on here.
I spent most of my adult life designing knitwear and teaching machine knitting, so I am thankful that I have something else to tide me over. I will continue to paint of course, as I love painting but I also love crochet and knitting and if that is what sells on folksy, then that is what I will mostly list.
I hope you are all painting and creating beautiful things.

We’ve had a busy weekend, collecting daughter Kit on Saturday from uni (it’s wonderful to have her home) followed by choir practice to learn the alto parts to 4 carols that we sang at a carols and 9 lessons service this afternoon! They were a little tricksy so we had another reheasal this morning.
I’ve also been making my Christmas cake and a HUGE tray bake for the yoga class Christmas party tomorrow afternoon.
And I just listed 2 new Santa animals but since this thread expires in 3 hours time I’ll save them till tomorrow to show you
