so pleased, I just had to share with you all! Today, I was delighted to find I’ve sold a pendant - my first ever sale. My shop has been open for a few weeks but still needs a bit of fine tuning and some of my photos could be better, I know. As a result, I’ve done very little promoting of it yet. ( I’m also a tech dinosaur so that side of things is coming along very slowly!) I have, however, taken on board advice about SEOs and am busy ploughing through my listings to improve on this. So maybe, just maybe, that’s made a difference. I certainly noticed a sudden leap in viewings in the last 24 hours. Onwards and upwards!
Thanks so much. I’m sure you’ll soon get that first sale. I didn’t believe it when I got the notifications yesterday. The first one I saw was from Paypal and it mentioned sales. I thought “what sales? I havent sold anything. Must be a scam!” You’re probably better organised than me, but make sure you’ve got packaging materials on hand and ready. Luckily, I’d already bought jewellery boxes, organza bags, tissue and some little thank you stickers " just in case I ever sell anything"! I still havent got any natty little business cards yet so I’m popping a handwritten one in with the order, explaining that she’s my first customer! Theres so much to think about isn’t there? Also, I’m rubbish at the social media thing so that’s a steep learning curve and takes up so much valuable time. Anyway, just want to say hi to a fellow newbie, and to wish you loads of luck!
