Am I paranoid

Hi everyone, I am beginning to worry, as up to the end of Feb, I was getting orders from various other shopping sites. I was then suspended from the big ET** site, and so I opened up my giftsbylaserblend shop here on Folksy. Since opening it I have not had a single sale from here or any other site that I am advertising on. Is ET** really that powerful?

I’m sure I am not the only one wondering why you were suspended from ET**.. Was it because you are selling some copyright items (Super Heroes for example) which is certainly never a good look.
I would also wonder how are you selling in your own shop .. which I note you have your blog linked to (and you are not allowed to do that so probably a great idea to remove that link  ).

Sorry meant to add. Maybe you could expand your social media. You are only showing an FB page with few followers. Have you tried IG or anywhere else… but as I mentioned you need to be careful how you advertise if you are selling copyright images.

Hi why were you suspended from the other site?

I noticed you have Pink floyd ‘The wall’ in your shop which I love but copyright for their images, merchandise etc is now protected by Sony, as Joy questioned was your suspension due to copyright issues, you also have an Oasis sign and Marvel items in your shop. Many companies do prosecute and search online platforms for items that are in breach of copyright. As you only joined in February you are very new to Folksy and it can take time to get your first sale, do you promote your Folksy shop, you need to do your own promotion on here but it is early days still.

Also Et.. have no control over Folksy or any other platform, Folksy has no relation with E.

I designed a Leeds United clock and advertised it again after they removed it for breach of IP rules. I appealed, but they rejected the fact it was my personal design and not a copy of the actual Leeds badge.

Thank you for your highlight about copyright items; I have removed each of these listings now. Thank you for preventing me from being banned from here too. I just hope my other items don’t breach copyright. IP or trademark regulations. I just love to make things and just want to sell to get a bit of the material costs back. Thanks again for your information; it is very appreciated by me.

You still have a minions item listed. Universal studios owns minions.

I’d really read up about copyright and trademark before you get into serious trouble.

But well done him for taking note of our comments about copyright and actionning them. @GiftsbyLaserBlend good luck with your sales, absolutely understand the desire to make things… Think most of us understand that 100%.

I’m pleased we were able to offer some advice and that you took it on board and removed some items that may have caused problems for you. Someone mentioned you have Minions so you might need to look into that one as well but Good luck with your shop and enjoy creating.

Absolutely. I’d just hate to see anyone get in serious trouble when they’re just trying to make a bob or two.
