Any plans for the weekend?

Will you be creating and making marvellous items for your shop? Attending any events? Or will it be a family one? Or maybe a bit of both!

Tomorrow I’ll be taking my daughter to an exam, then off to a Vintage Fair scouting for unusual textiles. Then Sunday it’s our dog’s 4th birthday so will probably be at a country park somewhere with the family. I will also be fitting in some making at some point, especially if I get any new textiles on Saturday!

What about you?

Love that you celebrate your dog’s birthday, thought we were the only softies to do that sort of thing.
Will there be cake and presents?!

As for the weekend we will be trying to shake off our rotten colds, it’s like a plague town here…

Ha ha yes there will be a present in the shape of a big “wonky chomp” as that’s her favourite treat. Will also be giving her a special dinner of roast chicken and veg.

Hope you guys feel better soon.

Aww that’s sweet. We always remember our cat’s birthday too
We were meant to be going camping straight from school today but my middle daughter has had a chest infection this week and is asthmatic so we decided to keep her out of the damp and will be spending tomorrow at the Rutland Food and Drink Festival, which is where we were going to be camping anyway, we don’t live too far from it. I will try and squeeze in some making time on Sunday, fingers crossed!

I’m at the Lindfield Arts Festival all weekend, in Sussex. Fingers crossed it will be a good turnout with people in the mood for buying!

It’s my daughters 6th Birthday party and we have 14 children coming to a craft party - I am hoping it will be fun but worrying it may be manic.

Hope you’ve got paracetamol on standby, I always seemed to end up with headaches after my kids’ birthday parties!

Enjoy yourself Pauline, hope there’ll be no dancing on the tables

I’ll try and refrain from doing that @DeesDesigns

I am working both days but hoping to try and have a relaxing weekend, as I am currently waiting on an interview at work for a promotion. I am so nervous but really hopeful that I can prove I am right for the part.

I’ll also be browsing folksy a lot, I am starting to ‘window shop’ for Christmas Gift ideas.

Just Loving the celebrating of your doggy’s birthday!..and the fabric vintage shopping!..I’ll be trying to get better from this cold and a visit to A&E that has left me feeling like I’ve been in a prize boxing contest. Most of all though I shall be closing my laptop, getting some stitching done and planning to start fresh next week!..I’ll probs be catching up on some stuff on BBC iPlayer Radio too!

I am volunteering in a charity shop from 10 to 1 at Redruth then meeting my sister for shopping in Truro for the rest of the day. On Sunday I like to go to a car boot sale and market in Pool between Camborne and Redruth.
