Hope all forum visitors are well and feeling creative. I just wondered, as I check my shop stats daily in an effort to get a handle on what’s working and what isn’t, whether the seller’s visits to their own shop page are counted in the stats ie is every look we take, or every new listing we make, or editing of an existing listing, counted as a visit to an item or the shop alongside counting the visits from ‘outside’? It would help to know! Also is there any feedback on the coverage Folksy achieve each month with media exposure for Folksy as a whole? That also would be good to know as the information for sellers thinking of joining describes how the Folksy Team are in close contact with relevant media to constantly try to put Folksy in the spotlight. Thanks to anyone who has any thoughts on these topics.
Yes, your own visits do count in you Folksy daily stats.
As far as I am aware there is not monthly feedback on the coverage Folksy achieve, but they do give us updates from time to time in the Folksy Clubhouse on Facebook. The most recent update was about how Folksy is doing during the current Covd situation and it was pasted in to this thread on the forum…

I was always pretty sure they did show in stats and had confirmation of this recently as I can see that visits from an unpublished Wix website I started to build show up in the stats as coming from this source - good to know they do show up if I ever get it finished - tho not so useful if it’s me visiting :).
Thanks for the information, it helps me make more sense of the statistics. I can now see which are me and which are someone else!
Thanks for your help. It bears out what the statistics are showing. I’ll continue to keep an eye on them!
