I know this is an old thread but I have done exactly the same as you @plumporridge . @dougfolksy I had some hidden items and made sure it was the return to sale button I pressed but they have all disappeared! A load of dresses, waistcoats, Halloween bags and some knitwear. I have used the hide from sale before and very careful to not press the delete button. Gutted as it means I have to take a load more photos as I’ve lost around 20+ items!
I would contact support and tell them what happened. I would not be at all surprised if Doug was able to retrieve your listings from a backup. Worth a try before you go to a lot of effort to resist.
I did tag Doug but I think maybe as fairs are opening up again I can use this opportunity to look at my stock. I don’t want to be continually hiding & deleting products. I need to set up a different strategy, not sure what yet! I have some new stuff I have just finished photographing so I will concentrate on that first. I suppose the answer would be to get a smart phone with internet to take to fairs and then if I sell something I can delete or hide on Folksy but it feels a bit like cheating. I will have to hope I can direct my Craft Fair customers to Folksy.
Oh dear Zoe, I feel your pain! I remember this so well, happily it hasn’t happened since. It seems such a huge task redoing them all, but I honestly feel that my listings were all the better for it in the end. I worked on getting one listing as good as I could, and then did a lot of copy and pasting! Good luck! xxx
