Lovely work everyone.
I’ve been in experimental mode today. I found some old oil pastels in the bottom of a drawer and had a little play. I knocked out this rather crude beach picture in about half an hour. I certainly had fun but I prefer the subtlety of watercolour. Oil pastel is messy too. The nice thing about watercolour is that you can paint in your ball gown if you want to and it won’t spoil your apparel!

Here is my latest photographed in situ - a corner of my studio. It is nearly autumn, my favourite season so I thought I would finish this painting that I started ages ago. No too prolific at the moment but I am taking advantage that I am on break from my day job and finishing off some artworks that I started a while back.
