Morning everyone ![]()
Sticks of rock all round on the naughty step today! Do you remember when you could get every flavour stick of rock imaginable?
Stick of rock and a fridge magnet - standard gifts from your holidays! If someone looked after your pet they may have got a box of fudge with a postcard on top!
My listing today is:
Yes it is Hilary.
Good morning everyone showery here.
I used to love rock and those sweet pebbles someone mentioned not sure the dentist did. Can I throw Edinburgh rock in to the mix it is similar but has a more crumbly texture and no lettering. A bit of an acquired taste but still a favourite in the gift shops:
Just a re-list from me so don’t worry if you have already
it.
Have a good Saturday all.
Happy dancing for your sales Donna @underneaththeeaves and Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio ![]()
Edinburgh rock is my mum’s favourite Liz @PatchworkPackages still buy for her if I see it.
Faved to here
ha ha SARAH @dotterypottery …seagull flavoured rock…lol …still prefer the peppermint .
And @PatchworkPackages …the Edinburgh rock is lovely as is Scottish tablet…let’s all holiday with Susan @SusanBettyArt and we can all rock together…Rock on ladies !!
All this talk of rock and sweet treats is making my fillings tingle
.
I’m trying to hold onto the summer a bit longer so here’s today’s listing.
Afternoon everyone.
Ooo, aniseed rock was my favourite, haven’t thought about that for years!
I remember the boxes of fudge with the postcard on the top as gifts Sarah @dotterypottery - probably all made in the same factory nowhere near the seaside. Still it’s the thought that counts ![]()
I have another cupcake birthday card today, these may be coming all through September too - sorry!
Two sales to report please Mel @aquilacrafts ![]()

Just to let you know Mel @aquilacrafts, that Polly has arrived safely and she is gorgeous. I can’t wait till Christmas now so she can take pride of place on our tree. Thank you so much!
Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio I’m sorry, I hadn’t realised it was you! So glad you like her and that she arrived safely. Thank you x
And a little happy dance for your sales too ![]()
we are more than happy to have you here @Little1Leather
So have you been to Devon and Cornwall for a cream tea???
And anyone else remember the days when you would buy a pot of clotted cream to have posted back to family and friends for their tea?
Also if you haven’t already seen it…the last night of the proms ( My brother is in the choir) I haven’t checked with him yet but think it is Saturday 6th Sep…very traditional and patriotic.
Thanks, Max @MaxPringJewellery. I love Curious Gem, but they’re a little pricier than I can afford at the moment, same with Cookson Gold. Bead Shop haven’t had what I wanted the last couple of times. It’s just worrying trying new places without knowing if they’re legit. Money is super tight at the moment, so I can’t afford to make mistakes in ordering supplies.
Today’s new listing.
Still hoping to make some stuff later. Matt’s going to photograph whatever’s ready tomorrow, so getting listings ready before we go is already going to be tight. Sadly, the joints in my hands do not care.
Absolutely Brenda!
@teabreaks ….I’ll look out my leathers ![]()
Good afternoon Very wet here today and we are going away for a couple of days tomorrow, Such a shame the weather has changed. We have planned a day at the races on Monday and the forecast is terrible so we will have to watch the racing on the big screens in the bar . Sadly I am the driver so it will be diet coke for me
Bees today

You still can. Bought a tea from the Cornish tea company for a friend, they said delicious.
