Just a quick visit to ask you to add a sale to the tally please Mel @aquilacrafts.
Blowing a gale here so no gardening done. I’ve spent the day in my shed having my first attempt at making some video clips or whatever the correct term is. Set up involves a shower rail and a couple of hair bobbles!

Two sales for me so a quick American Smooth while the kettle boils. I put a little promotion on Social Media giving a free beaded ring with each order for today which I think led to the sales which is exciting.

Brilliant photos Caroline @Caroleecrafts - plenty of fudge shops around here, but I shall have to have a search next time we’re at a coastal resort and see if I can find some rock for old times sake!
I have used BegellyBeads occasionally Amanda, @OakLeafCrafting although not very recently. I think the daughter has took over from her mum. I use the Curious Gem mostly, and sometimes TJays beads. I have looked at MrBeads before, but I didn’t like the website very much.

There’s an American guy on Instagram that really loves the UK and he loves all our traditions and even our food. He does great commentary on our tourist spots and food places. He even brought his whole family over to experience it all. He’s called Kalani Ghost hunter if any you want to watch him…I love his enthusiasm for all things British!

I watch Kalani on facebook, Sarah @dotterypottery. His enthusiasm is very endearing. The first video I saw was him trying snacks and spending five minutes raving about Irn Bru and Monster Munch

I’m off to check out TJay’s Beads, Nikki @GlintBeads. I haven’t come across that one in my searching. I think I might give Begelly Beads a try when I get back from holiday. The stuff I know I want is slightly cheaper on there than MrBeads. Oh for an actual physical bead shop within 100 miles (or not requiring a London trip).

I have been following Kalani Ghost hunter for ages Sarah @dotterypottery…I love watching him give his opinion on our food…he did one in Cardiff market tasting all the Welsh cakes and I loved it when the family tried pickled onions for the first time…ha ha

morning all…the end of the month now.
Well done to all those with sales and here’s hoping for a good September for everyone.
There is a definite chill in the air now, so you will probably notice that I have been doing a bit of crochet. I am making a few infinity scarves as low priced gifts for Christmas and the winter and will be adding some of my lady’s jackets soon.
I am still continuing with the paintings and cards but with over 400 of them in my shop I need to slow down with those a bit or I will be papering the walls with them soon.
Also I get easily bored and cannot paint in the evenings as in the winter it is too dark to see what I am doing.
Most of my life I have earned my living from knitting and crochet and so there will be more of it in my shop as the weeks go on.
