That’s a brilliant idea, just do what you enjoy. I love it when I’m having a quiet period and can just choose what to make because I want to make it not because I need one to fill a gap in my shop or an order.
I can Never predict what I’m going to sell from one day, week or month to another. eg .Sold 8 horses in last 3 months but none in the first 9 months of the year !
I have to admit by mid year I was feeling fed up with it all and like you the ‘having’ to make certain items, I lost my enthusiasm and after 390 bears I also lost the will to sew another one. I desperately needed a change or I would have packed it in, I have thought about it quite a bit over xmas and realise I don’t need to worry so much (although that is easier said than done I know). Oh wouldn’t it be lovely if we could actually just make what we enjoy all the time without feeling guilty…it would be like a full time hobby…I’ll give it a go!! Thanks for listening
I just looked down the Best Sellers Page and have to say I am really pleased with the look at the moment and what a wonderful mix of different crafts and arts and skills and materials are on display. My initial impression is of Quality. The sort of place where people would like to shop for nice things.
I’m delighted that @folksycontent have put this feature back on the frontpage for everyone to see (not just those of us who for the last couple of years have had to rely on a saved url to get to it).
I really love this feature and its clean clear white background offset by the variety and colour of the goodies on offer.
(PS I know I’m in the middle somewhere but that’s not why I’m adding this comment, I’m just very happy to be there) .
