Closing shop for a while

I have decided to close my shop. I have been suffering with trigeminal neuralgia and finally getting it under control to only have my husband to be diagnosed with cancer just a few days before Christmas they were going to operate as caught early but because they found a tiny spot somewhere else this is not now happening, so he soon starts chemo just can’t get my head around it at the moment with the shock. I have kept my shop in holiday mode at the moment until my membership expires l may come back later on just see how things go

So sorry Valerie and can understand you need space and time to digest everything. I do hope your husband recovers well. Lee’s cousin was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer a couple of years ago, operations and chemo, now free. Hugs

Take of your husband and yourself. The NHS is good at treating cancer, I have a few freinds that have faced the chemo route. Which can make you feel sick, but the end is good.
Everyone here will wish you the best.

Thinking of you Valerie @jenniesgems . My husband has recently been diagnosed with cancer too so I know how you are feeling. It’s hard to think of anything else. I put my shop into holiday mode at first, but then re opened it just to give me something else to focus on. I find it hard to get motivated so I just do it when I feel up to it. Take care of yourself…

Sending you both best wishes, I’ve been down the chemo route and it’s hard for everybody but if they’ve caught it early there is every hope of a good outcome. Look after yourself too x

Val,
I am so sorry to hear your terrible news. My thoughts are with you both and I hope chemo does the job. My advice, take each day at a time, try to do things together during these terrible winter days.XX

So sorry to hear this. On a positive note my Bob had bowel cancer in 2005…caught Just in time as he was still around for a double heart bypass in 2019. He’s still here, 81 in body but not at heart. I found having my shops while we sorted his heart over 6 months kept me sane.
xx
