Contacting a seller re a missing item!

I have tried to contact a fellow folksy seller re a ‘missing item’ but have had no reply - any ideas where I go next as I do not want to leave a poor review.

Did you contact them through their shop or via an email address? (their should be an email address on the payment receipt) The contact through shop can often go to spam folder so if you did that, try email instead. If you emailed and haven’t had a reply then try contacting them through social media if they have any links to that in their shop.

If that doesn’t work then go to the payment processor or your credit card company and start a claim but it is worth trying to contact them by email or social media first.

Hopefully I can get through to them as I’m sure they don’t realise anything is wrong - and thank you so much for your advice.

Would team Folksy be able to contact them for you, just a thought but maybe your email has gone into a spam folder whereas one from Folksy may go to their inbox, or are they on social media, perhaps message on IG or FB

Good suggestions everyone - no joy on Facebook or Instagram - I’ll have one more go then I think I will have to contact team Folksy as I really don’t want to leave bad feedback.

When I first started on Folksy I had the same situation with a seller, my items didn’t arrive and i tried several times to contact her, Folksy were really good and did help me sort it, the items never did arrive but I did get a refund.

Just to say the seller has contacted me and all is well (hopefully). She had been on holiday and hadn’t seen my messages. Many thanks for all your sensible suggestions.

Actually thanks for reminding me Debby - the seller asked me to wait a little while longer for the item but I still haven’t got it so I will have to break the bad news to her … looks like this one is truly lost in the post so I will have to get a replacement or money back! Such a shame for us both.
