Hia. I set my shop up about a month ago. It’s a work in progress:)
I would be really grateful for some feedback about what I have already done. Good comments and constructive criticism welcome.
Thanks

Hi
search algorithms look for repetition between title, description and tags so having titles like ‘meow’ or ‘magic’ aren’t particularly search engine friendly. Something like ‘original framed unicorn drawing’ as the title with the description starting with ‘Magic is an original cartoon drawing of a unicorn. It is hand drawn to order and coloured in soft pastel hues ideal for going in a little girl’s bedroom…’ and then having ‘unicorn drawing’ in the tags will help you rank highly in a ‘unicorn drawing’ search. Search algorithms also don’t tend to read past paragraph 2 so your current lay out, whilst easy to read, isn’t going to do your listings any favours at being found.
I’ve probably not explained that very well (brains gone to mush doing an online training course) so you might want to read the appropriate section in the folksy blog http://blog.folksy.com/category/seller-tips/product-listing-tips
That’s brilliant information! Thank you xxx
you have some great simple designs there in your shop…why not try some different frame sizes and shapes also different colours and materials to use fro framing them…hope you get lots of sales soon…tj
Brilliant! Thank you xx
LOVE your work. I love that they are all/mainly square in the same frames.
I would (As a buyer) love more photographs. Perhaps an extreme close up, maybe a studio/work in progress shot, 1 placed on a little easel/ on a contrasting snazzy background/wall? As a seller, I’d add a twitter, Instagram and Pinterest account to widen your audience and get seen/shared by more of us.
Lots of luck
Michelle
I think extra colour will give more variety and make the shop prettier. Working on some designs. Thank you xxx
Hia! Thanks x
I have started taking some work in progress stuff…when I remember🤦♀️. Just joined instagram too; that’s a learning curve. Pinterest is on the To Do list
I think WIP stuff would be good as it will look better in the photos. I won’t have to worry about the reflections from the glass, which is a nightmare. Xx
Morning.
Had a look at that blog and redid one of my listings. All makes perfect sense - I’m just not good at the “fluffy stuff” because, when I shop, I’m more practical. This is a skill that can be learnt though🙂. The tips transfer well to social media too. I’ve learnt lots, thank you xxx
