Customer Support

Hi, any idea how long it takes someone from Customer Support to respond to a message I sent two days ago?

I even asked someone to reply on a ‘meet the face behind a name’ post on FB but still no reply.

I’ve always had a response within a day - if it’s urgent there’s a separate email address urgent@folksy.co.uk Or is it anything that can be answered here? Btw, there is a response from Folksy to your question on FB

@itsatwinthing Is this the email you sent to support on the evening of the 28th? If so our support team responded the following morning, please check any spam/junk folders or similar, or search for emails from support@folksy.co.uk if you can’t find this (gmail can have quite a few different folders they filter emails to so searching the address may be easiest).

If you find you miss our emails because gmail doesn’t put them in your inbox, it may help to set up a rule on our email addresses - Create rules to filter your emails - Gmail Help

Hi, ive just seen it. Gmail only shows one email address and I keep forgetting to go to the other one (my Folksy address).

Hi, yes I keep forgetting i have another gmail address! It was about Google Shopping and struggling with a URL. Apologies.

I have another question: in your info re creating collages, on Canva I’ve opened
the collage template and uploaded 2 images. Your instruction says drag images to template but these are on two separate screens. I’m on android phone and also tablet.

Can’t help with the canva thing but thought it might be useful to mention that it is possible to set up Gmail on your phone to sync to multiple emails addresses so that you don’t have to remember to check each one individually. Mine is set up to gather emails from 2 Gmail accounts and a yahoo account, I can toggle between the different accounts or select all inboxes if I want to see all emails. (Let me know if instructions for setting this up would be useful)

I’m not great on Canva but on a phone, when you hold down on an image, it will highlight it and at the bottom give you the option to replace the image/images…

Then you can save your new collage.

I tend to use PicCollage (paid not many ££ to remove watermarks) as I find it more intuitive for the way my brain works!!

I’ve screamed lots of screams whilst using Canva :rofl::sob:…I know lots of people love it but I definitely don’t!!!

I scream if I do ANYTHING on a phone - I have to do it on a computer! :upside_down_face:

Hi @itsatwinthing i have 2 gmail addresses and I can open either inbox or select all, I keep them seperate as my personal one gets full of rubbish from online shops etc. I recently set up my Bearlescent one so that I can keep my business correspondence seperate. I just click on the profile pic to switch between them. As for canva…i didn’t get past go with it and very quickly threw the towel in, I use Adobe express, free version only as it is much simpler. Folksy use canva so it is something I could do to learn at some point, i think i need Folksy to do a ‘how to’ webinar thingy for android on it.

Hello @Bearlescent I have two also. Totally agree with Folksy, webinar or videos on how to do. I am a visual learner and need to ask questions as im going along.

Know what you mean with Canva :tired_face:. Going to try other sites.
