I have some wonderful news that I’d like to share! My friend’s daughter wanted to give gifts to her friends while she was staying with us on holiday. I suggested that I could teach her how to make worry owls, and we could attach them to keychains. She created some for her friends, and they all loved them! She said that everyone in her class wanted one.
Today, my friend messaged me to say that the school got in touch because they think the worry owls are a fantastic idea. They would like my permission to use the concept for a project aimed at helping students cope with the anxiety of transitioning to high school. It’s exciting to think that my little worry owls will soon provide comfort to schoolchildren in Belgium!
Huge thanks to Mel @aquilacrafts for looking after everyone last month, and to Caroline @Caroleecrafts for hosting this month. Caroline (apologies if you have already spotted it and are planning to edit later when you update for items sold) - the info in the intro post says March in the first line and has Mel as the account to tag for sales.
Faved to here, off up the allotment now. See you all later.
Thank you Caroline @Caroleecrafts for hosting during April.
Well done to everyone with a sale so far!
Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio - so pleased that something you made will bring comfort and peace to so many.
Welcome back to anyone returning.

Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio how amazing that your adorable owls are going to help the youngsters Well done
Not long in from agility which was fun, but the Werewolf is absolutely shattered. He was restless in the night and even barking at something outside sometime after 02.00 and neither of us slept much afterwards. Off to have my nails done soon and I think they might need to either pinch me to keep me awake or put a pillow under my head
Have a lovely afternoon, everyone and fingers crossed for the Sales Fairy
It’s a relist of one of the fabrics in my destash section.
