Good morning! Iāve made it back, and am actually using my new laptop with the Linux installed! I couldnāt get the wifi to work on it yesterday, so could only use it sitting plugged into the router. I thought I was going to have to reinstall a different version today, but it was working when I switched it on this morning! So Iāve just caught up with the 81 posts I missed yesterday!
My shopās back out of holiday mode. Iām just planning to leave it open over Christmas - sales are like gold dust to me, I donāt care if I get inundated with them on Christmas morning!
Something Iāve noticed this morning when looking at my shop with a different computer, is that the photos look a lot darker. The saturation must be different. But itās made me wonder how other people see them.
I stay open all through Christmas. I leave seasonal items in my shop all year round and have sold Christmas items after Christmas (at full price) I do relist them but they will eventually move toward the back of my shop as I bring others forward.
Good morning everyone, my last listing for the year since Iāll be popping the shop in holiday mode till January this evening. My mum will be flying in from Gibraltar next week, and my sister and her boyfriend from Portugal and they will all be staying over Christmas. We will also have Claireās mum and sister staying over Christmas as well and my friend staying over on the 22nd for her birthday. So Iām going to be too overwhelmed to take part in the thread, and donāt want to be stressing about if I do actually sell something whether it will arrive in time for Christmas. Iāll catch up with everyone in January and hope you all have a fabulous Christmas.

My shop will be staying open over Christmas too. I just post at the earliest opportunity. Iām sending everything tracked for the next 2 weeks, for my own peace of mind.
More house cleaning planned for today and some gift wrapping ready to post tomorrow.

for me Christmas is just another dayā¦Kelly and I with dinner on a tray, the same as any other day here. My Son and granddaughter live in Scotland and we only see them every year or two. The last time we saw my granddaughter she was 5 and she will be 8 in the new year. My son is bringing her to visit in April ā¦She will have grown such a lot. Everyone else is busy with their own families and so it feels kind of sad here but such is life. The only sign of Christmas here is the tree that we put up last weekend. Gone are the days with lots of family around the table and lots of people chatting. SO, I shall probably be painting as always and I might clear out some of the crochet from my shop and give it to charityā¦x
Good morning everyone. Itās very still and quiet out there at the moment.
We have just a very quiet time here just Brian and my son Trevor. My older son Kevin is coming round with his partner Clare next Sunday and Clare is working all over Christmas and the New Year. She doesnāt mind doing that as they donāt have any Children and then there is always the extra overtime money.

Brenda @teabreaks Christmas is just another day to us since loosing mum. I have my dad and brother over and do dinner but we quite often do that of a weekend anyway so not really any different. We only do gifts for my grandson who we will probably see for a couple of hours Christmas eve. We donāt put decorations or a tree up anymore. Difficult to be cheery when thereās a big part of the family missing.

I obviously will be staying open all month. I dont particularly do items for Christmas but all but ine has sold here or at my fair, I shall probably just leave it up.
I have 3 children and their partners coming Christmas day. It might be a struggle having mostly cooked for two for over a year, but I shall have everything prepared beforehand so I donāt have to spend the day in the kitchen. Being vegetarian helps a lot.
