My daughter has been invited to an event for a cafe which is expanding into a bakery and she’s asked me along too. Should be interesting, but they are going into direct competition with another business at the other end of town. Bit cheeky, but hopefully there will be enough people for all the baps, buns and bakes. She’s also probably jet lagged after getting back from her holiday this morning

Sunshine, Elizabeth @PatchworkPackages? I’m starting to forget what that is. It’s still chucking it down here, non-stop since yesterday morning. Our side lawn is now definitely a pond. If I wanted to pick rhubarb I would have to swim, I think.

Evening, turned out to be a nice day here. Sun is still shining this evening. I’ve been tidying round as we are going away for a couple of days and I want to leave it ok just in case the estate agents have anyone wanting a viewing…. Haven’t had one for ages
Finished a few things off so I’ll have a couple of things to list while I’m away. We are going to Wimbledon tomorrow then heading down to Plymouth to pick up our eldest from his placement year. Forgot to tell you he passed his driving test yesterday which is great news for him and I am delighted I won’t have to supervise driving practice any more!
