Good morning.
Pam @PCCrafts - my sales fell off a cliff last year and have never recovered. Luckily the gallery and in person fairs seem to be doing OK. I do wonder if it’s to do with the apparent change in peoples spending habits. Most people seem reluctant to spend more than £15 and those items in my shop often cost £3-£4 to send which I’m sure puts people off. I think once Christmas is over and my plus account expires I might just pull the plug on online selling for a while and have a rethink.

Anyway, until then I will keep listing

Hugs to Hilary, Max and Valerie @kokoblue @MaxPringJewellery @valerie hope you’re all on the mend soon.

I’m thrilled for everyone making sales, it’s brilliant and huge congrats to Sarah @dotterypottery for reaching the number one slot.

It was lovely to see friends yesterday, but I’m hoping for a nice calm day in the studio. It’s not calm weather-wise, we’ve another storm and the clouds look like custard. Popping out later to deliver a commission.

Meantime here are some seagulls in better weather…

Your donkeys look lovely Nic @NicHarman

My sister ‘fostered’ a seaside donkey from Skegness over the winter season many years ago. She answered an ad in the back of a newspaper. Lets just say that I think the owner saw her coming. The donkey’s name was Ringo. He was a beast, huge for a donkey, would bite and kick and hated kids. He escaped often and my sister would get phone calls from all over the village complaining that Ringo was in someone’s garden eating the Petunias.

Aah the 70’s

Well done Brenda @teabreaks on your haul of sales.

Hi Georgina,

Love your story, do you think Ringo’s character may have been a reaction to his previous employment. I had an old Dartmoor pony some years back who came to us very opinionated, when we said goodbye to him he had turned into a pipe and slippers boy who quietly instructed the youngsters how to behave, we really miss him. I bet even with the challenging behaviour your sister was very fond of him?? We’re still waiting for Matty to lighten up

Good morning all.
Oh gosh Valerie @valerie, I really hope you start improving soon you’ve been poorly for a while x

Fantastic sales Brenda, well done  .

I managed a trip out briefly yesterday and on the way home we had to rescue someone from the floods. I couldn’t believe the driver had taken his little car complete with his children through the water :woman_facepalming:t2:. He was a local person and really should have known better…… Luckily our truck goes very deep and we managed to get them out. I must say I was exhausted by the time we got home!

Back to Christmas today

Morning all,
Wow wow wow Brenda @teabreaks very happy Friday foxtrot for you today :dancer: :dancer:
Were the sales all to the one customer?
Hang in there Nic @NicHarman it takes a while before the sales start to flow and even then sometimes it’s more of a drip than a torrent! Keep showing your work on the forums and on social media and people will get to know you and remember you when they are looking for a particular item.
Hope you can get some joy from your latest trip to the doctor Valerie @valerie it sounds like you’ve really had a bad bout of the lurgy. :face_with_thermometer:
Well done on your superhero rescue Hilary @kokoblue :woman_superhero:
