What a fiasco, trying to buy a new sofa, seen 1 in John Lewis but turns out you can only buy direct as no one has one you can try before you buy. Tried Barker and Stonehouse in Guildford, again lovely sofa but have to try before you buy, guess what not in stock to try. Fed up now . Looked through all the shops we can nothing.
Jusy spent the day in bed again. This has gone on far too long. I’m going to drop out for the rest of the month. See you in November
Valerie

Brenda @teabreaks Devil’s toenails are really a fossilised extinct kind of oyster called Gryphaea, and they are very common along the local coast. We find them all the time in our garden, because our boys could never return from the beach without a bucket full of them.
Liz @PatchworkPackages, I’ll see what I can do. X
My boy is home from Uni for the weekend!
We went out for a few drinks and tea! It was so good to give him a hug. We do talk everyday but it was good to be in person and him telling us more about his Uni adventures. He did a very grown up thing yesterday and signed his contact for his accommodation for next year in a lovely house in a beautiful area.
My item for today is a set of Reindeer Christmas Cards
Lovely photo @ButterflyThistleCreativeCrafts
Hope you are feeling better Valerie @valerie
Knickers to devil’s tie nails. Ewwww what next,
This is not any of my dogs Brenda @teabreaks but explains floofs
Good morning, bit of a kiln disaster yesterday. It got too hot and completely melted all the cabs I had in there and destroyed the thermo plates they were on. I now have glass stuck to the bottom of my kiln no idea what happened as it’s a set programme, so have a bit of a ‘clean up on isle 5’ to sort today
then run some tests to find out what’s wrong with it (the benefit of having an electronics engineer for a husband). Hopefully it’s an easy fix or I’m going to need a new kiln.
anyhoo, here’s my listing for today. last of the angels
Oh Max hope you can clean up the kiln.
Morning everyone,
Oh dear Max @MaxPringJewellery does the kiln turn itself off? I can see a potential fire hazard there, perhaps report it to the manufacturer?
Oh no lets hope it doesn’t take too much cleaning and that your hubby can fix it without too much difficulty.
Valerie @valerie take care of yourself and hope you start to feel better soon
Lovely photo of you both @ButterflyThistleCreativeCrafts
Hope the kiln is not too difficult to sort out Max @MaxPringJewellery
What an amazing thread not only a lovely supportive fun group of people but education too on floofs from Caroline @Caroleecrafts and devils toenails from Joss @XStitcherJoss
Hope you all have a nice weekend
