Finally got this listed! I kept starting it this morning but never got far enough to save it as a draft before hubby started chatting away to me, which is lovely really! Then got busy stewing up apples from the garden for the freezer. Now husband has gone out and I can settle down with a cup of tea and what is nowadays called Me Time, but hadnt been invented when we were young.
Soon be time to get the winter woolies out

Afternoon all,
My brain is frazzled today!. Spent the morning trying to write T&C’s for my not yet up and running website/shop and got to the privacy/GDPR bit and fell down a rabbit hole of what to include and how to word it all. Why is it all so complicated?
So, gave up and went to chop down the jungle (aka the back garden) and now stopped for a bit of lunch.
If anyone knows of a basic free template for a privacy policy and would love to share I’ll be forever grateful!
Anyway, not much to say about my listing other than sorry more gloves

Louise @thestitchyroom if this helps, here is a link to the homepage of my sumup website (which I haven’t got round to stocking up properly yet!) - it’s free when I registered for my sumup card reader. At the bottom is the T&C and Privacy policy that are automatically set up if you want to take a look? I don’t know if I should alter them but have just left them as is.

Honestly Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio, I felt very similar when I started joining in with these. Having done a few of them now and being more used to the forum in general I think I find it a bit easier, but still if I’m having a less good day or there’s a lot going on, my posts get a bit “Hi everyone - here’s my link” 
Like you, I hope it doesn’t come across as a lack of interest or caring. I’ve certainly never got that feeling from any of your posts

Sorry for missing yesterday, working my way through catching up on listings. Feeling low today, one of my best friends was admited to hospital this week, she had to have emergency surgery late last night. It feels like I’m reliving January all over again. Distracting myself with a little crafting, I repaired a button hole on a dress I love and I’ll maybe take some more photos.

Hello, just read through all of today’s posts and there are lots of people struggling at the moment - but it also reminded me what a lovely group this is - the warmth and support is so special. Adding a big hug from me to everyone who’s having a difficult time.

Had mum parents and sister round for a bbq at lunchtime (our first one this year! I think we might have missed summer) so I’m going to clear up and then hopefully get a listing ready.

I have an old settee and the springs have gone in it. we cannot afford a new one so Kelly filled the hole in the seating…covered it with an old duvet and then put some of my crochet over it…I HAD to model it of course…Might make some of you smile to cheer your day if you are feeling down in the dumps…

Thank you Judith @judyrowleyart that’s really helpful. It’s given me a good example of how to lay out the privacy policy. That’s good of Sumup to automatically set that up. I use a Sumup reader and wondered what their website shops would look like. I really like the look of your shop.
I don’t think you need to alter the policies, it all looks fine to me. They seem to cover everything I’ve found that needs to be covered.
I’m using Big Cartel and although they have templates you have to set up pretty much everything yourself. I was working my way through nicely until I got to this part!
I’m ultimately applying to sell wholesale with Faire so need my own site. I already sell some items wholesale so thought I’d try and do it properly!
