I really love this petticoat! If I had seen it I would have been interested…
Ive just got my hands on this little beauty to sell at a vintage fair next month, it had green shot thread running through it. And it fits me, so if nobody ever buys it I can wear it.
Hi Ronald. The petticoat is beautiful, and nowadays when anything goes I can just imagine a teenager/20+ year old wearing it as a skirt. It would look lovely. Marg.

My partner today found another different petticoat buried in a drawer she forgot she had, so watch that auction site this weekend ! It isn’t as old or intricate as the one shown and is black/plum colour, but at least 20-25 years old, and longer in length.

Thanks Ronald! That’s why I’m interested in vintage-the quality is so much higher. That’s not to say that people didn’t make poor quality stuff in the past, but by it’s very nature the good stuff survives
