I am testing the codes. I created a 20% off code, and advertised it on Facebook. I did it yesterday and have sold 6 things already I’ve been waiting for this function for a while, and look forward to being able to have a January sale! If anyone is interested my code is BB20 and is valid until midnight on Friday (I assume when you set it to expire on Sat, it expires at midnight on Friday?). I think it helps that my goodies are all unique and are priced at the ‘stocking filler’ price range, so an extra 20% off, makes them very reasonably priced.

Is there anywhere we can add a minimum spend so the code only works if order is over £10 or so?

I like to give discount on orders over a set amount but there doesn’t seem to be an option for that and also a thank you discount?

I’m afraid discount codes that are applicable on orders over a certain amount are not possible at the moment.

If you want to create a ‘thank you’ code, that’s something that you can create a special code for and only give the code out to the people you want to thank. So maybe you’d include the code in a thank you note to new or loyal buyers, or in a special email to your mailing list. Does that make sense?

Am I correct in thinking that setting expiry to say 12 Nov will mean it expires at the beginning of 12 Nov and not end?

Correct, yes! If you set expiry to 12th Nov, it will expire at the end of the 11th November (i.e. it will no longer work at Midnight 0:00am on 12th)

Maybe a silly question, but why can you set up a + or - discount percentage? And which one gives the discount - should I be using 10% or -10%?

I guess a minus number shouldn’t be possible, as a negative discount will add money on to the order. I’ll check that out with Doug!

Don’t use +/- just use the number that corresponds to the percentage discount (10, 20, 25 etc)
