Not many parcels go missing, but accept that you are taking a gamble. So, how much time, money, and effort is it going to cost if the item goes missing?
- If the answer is “not a lot” then just stick it in the post box.
- If it would be inconvenient because you’re busy, but you could send another item, and it’s less than £20 then go to the post office and get a proof of postage receipt.
- If it’s one-of-a-kind irreplaceable, and / or expensive then send it by a tracked service.
Remember by UK law it is your fault if a customer doesn’t get their purchase. The disclaimers you see on US websites don’t work here.
