I’m trying to buy several gifts as thank yous for teachers, and spotted loads of lovely pamper type gift hampers on the site that cannot be named, with lots of little products and treats in them, that would be perfect. I wanted to support my fellow folksy sellers so I typed in gift boxes/pamper boxes etc in the search engine, and it bought up crotchet baby boots and other completely unrelated items!!! After 30 minutes of searching I gave up and went on another website.
Before I order elsewhere, does anyone have any products that might be suitable? I need to buy for several people (budget from £10-40 pp). I do wish Folksy had a better search engine….
Selling hampers filled with bought in items falls foul of the ‘Assembled items’ rule so you won’t find as many on here as elsewhere. But you will find some gift sets containing things the seller has made themselves. Try searching for ‘gift set’ … or ‘selection’ brings up some likely things.
Just an idea - you could buy some individual pamper items on Folksy, and then put them into little bags, also from Folksy, to make nice and unique gifts
For example
I make cute Rainbow Bracelets and have plenty of stock if you want buy separately to make your own gift sets up. I could offer a bulk purchase to save on postage costs.
I often buy a big pack of items like soaps or trinkets and divvy them up into hampers/goodie bags I put together myself, it’s a bit more faff but a bit more personal.
There aren’t many here, this is because folksy ( unlike the other site) is for handmade only… and most craftspeople specialise in one or two crafts…. It’s unlikely ( but not impossible) to find a maker that sews, makes soaps etc ( with the required health and safety requirements) and has the time to design , keep stock, then photograph and bundle it all together…
