I always seem to get the ones who attack Brenda @teabreaks. My arms/hands are full of scars. I know they can’t help it but it’s still not nice going to work knowing you’re facing that.
@GlintBeads totally - all for minimum wage and the school I’m currently at most of the staff look down on us and the drivers. The last school I worked with was lovely, any problems, even if it was just something like trying to get a kid to quieten down, just speak to the teachers and they’d give you little tips of what works. I’ve been doing this job 7yrs now but we don’t get to know the kids like the teachers do.
I feel so sorry for the parents too, most of them are lovely (there’s always the odd one who isn’t) We were talking to a dad this morning. His child is non verbal and whilst he’s not naughty as such, he is full on 24/7 and often goes days without any sleep. Dad is trying to get help but as often is the case he ‘earns too much’. So he’s doing right by holding down a job and trying to support his family financially but he’s often going to work with no sleep because the kid has kept him awake all night. He was finally awarded help over the weekend, he will get 24 days respite a year
Afternoon all,
Sorry to hear about your friend’s OH Caroline @Caroleecrafts xx
Ouch Carol @Knittingtopia
Just a relist today. I’ve got some new things to photograph and list, so hopefully will be ready tomorrow.
Good afternoon I’m very late today. I used the morning to take lots of photos for my new things and all of the standing and bending has really made my back and stomach muscles hurt as well as those around my chest and my legs as well. I think that because of all of the problems I’ve had with my legs and the sciatica that they have caused has made me lose all of the tone and strength in my core muscles and I don’t know how to improve it. I know I need to exercise but because it hurts and makes me suffer for a long time I don’t do so much even though I know I need to. I’m really fed up with all of this myself so I’m sure you’re even more fed up with hearing it all.
Today would have been my Dad’s 95th birthday.
Thinking of your friend Caroline @Caroleecrafts that’s really sad news.
That bite looks really nasty Carol @Knittingtopia do you get danger money?
Brenda @teabreaks just WOW
Today I have a light weight spring time boho style bracelet
I suffer with my back too when taking photos (spinal arthritis) it’s a tough call isn’t it because we know exercise helps in the long run but it also hurts. Take it easy x
Sorry to hear about your friend’s OH - such sad news. Sending you lots of love Caroline @Caroleecrafts x
Whoop whoop - go Brenda @teabreaks - that is a mammoth total so far!
I haven’t found my stamps yet but when I looked up penny reds on ebay and saw that most of them don’t even fetch 99p the urgency to find it kind of dwindled away…lol!
Sorry to hear about your friend’s loss Caroline @Caroleecrafts.
Thanks for the fabric love Lynn - it’s the less colourful sprigs in between the colourful bouquets of Sanderson Moira which I have made cushions from. I don’t like to waste the inbetween bits!
Just caught up with the thread…
Sending positive thoughts to everyone who needs and happy dancing for everyone’s sales.
Its gloriously sunny on MOK today, but SO cold with the gales. I really need to work in the garden, but I’m such a wimp with the cold.
Have loved everyone’s makes.
Could you add one sale to my tally, please Maxine @MaxPringJewellery my little ACEO that I listed, has gone to be with its sister in the USA.
