Take good care Georgina. 6 weeks seems a long time but you need to heal and then regain your strength. Good news about not needing surgery

It’s getting snarled up around the bobbin. I suspected new bobbin case was needed and that was what they diagnosed and replaced (I had a new one not so long back) and when they did test stitching all must have been fine. But within about 10 mins I was getting the same old trouble
He did say it was pretty worn inside, I think I’d have rather they called and discussed whether it was even worth doing any further work on

Maybe I should consider a change of medium Brenda @teabreaks but given any of my attempts to paint in the past I don’t think that would be too lucrative!

Sorry to hear about your sewing machine Mel @aquilacrafts - it sounds as if your machine might be nearing retirement. It’s a really difficult decisions replacing ‘old friends’ but it might be time to cut your losses and bite the Bullitt if it’s getting very worn out.
