Morning everyone
I am trying to get back into the swing of things at the moment. Will start going through everyone’s links next and to catch up with the news.

Thank you, all you lovely people, for all the sympathy and advice over the demise of my sewing machine. Silly, how attached you can get to inanimate objects! I used to have several machines, but my younger daughter now has (and uses) my old 1930s hand Singer, and my older daughter has - or at least had - my overlocker. I really don’t want a machine with all the bells and whistles, just a basic machine with a few manual features, and the ability to do free-machine embroidery if I so wish. I also require a bit of weight to it. I can’t bear all these new light-weight things that risk falling over backwards if you are stitching anything thick or heavy. We’ll really have to find the time between all the baby-sitting commitments our daughters keep inflicting upon us to go out and look!

@XStitcherJoss I don’t know if Leeds is too far away, but I have used MKC machines there for new machines, and for getting repairs done. Janones seem to be their cheapest, (tho many machines are very expensive,) and they sell second hand too.
Meanwhile, trying to get seasonal with this little wool bag today.

Love your little bag Petra @PetraBradleyPrints. I was amused to read the description - I’ve bought fabric in many places, but never a pub!
This zip pouch uses my all time favourite vintage Sanderson Linen, just love the vibrant greens in it.

I’ve been working on large items in my main shop, and it’s easy to forget the little impulse buys and stocking fillers that are mosty in my felt shop. So while the weather is great for drying felt I’ve been making some more little felted soaps.
