I know I am pest but Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery and Max @MaxPringJewellery I am STILL stuck over the customs formsā¦
I need to post a painting to the USā¦(only 7x5 and large letter due to the backing card)
If I put a customs form on the envelopeā¦one with the bar code on itā¦can I just pop it in the post box or MUST it be scanned at the post office?..or if it isnāt wonāt it get held up in the US?
(sadly the sale was on the dark side)ā¦I am worried that if I use the bar coded customs form and it hasnāt been scanned then it will cause confusion and I really cannot get to the post office.
Do I use the bar coded ones or not? I kept reading the information over and over again but it really wasnāt clear. Thanks in advance for any help x

I joined online Slimming World 3 days ago and you will never guess what, for the first time in 25 years, Mr DP has decided to take up baking! Heās made chocolate chip muffins and brownies so far! Now Iām really beginning to wonder if he wants to keep me fat!

There are some really nice recipes for cakes on the SW website Sarah, especially the lemon drizzle cake, the chocolate cake and the strawberry roulade and they are not many syns a slice.

Hi Brenda, yes use the barcoded ones, they will scan and add the details for you at the sorting office once itās been collected from the box I have been posting to the US with the new ones both bar coded and not bar coded for tracked for a few weeks now and have had no problems with either x

@Marjansart used to keep a 4 ft tank of goldfish (amazing creatures) and I love your fish paintings! @XStitcherJoss also in awe of the work in your blankets and @valerie Iāve been totally coveting that flamingo cushion. @AliDufty Iāve also never seen one of those before. Iām rarely ever in a car but when I am the seat belt is so uncomfortable so thatās a great idea and lovely colours.
Back to the crinkle cut chips for Friday, have a good one

You are right @SueTrevor, Iāve decided to hold onto the Skoda. I think I would be quite sad to part with it.
Went to see a friend over the border in Devon today who had been shielding so not seen him in months, so that was nice. Luckily my local knowledge prompted me to take a detour on the way home on the presumption that my usual route would flood. It did. I heard on the radio later it had caused eight mile tailbacks in all directions. Think I dodged a bullet.
Too late and Iām too tired to list anyhing today. Thereās always tomorrow! .

Good morning. My last day at work covering before back to it properly next week.
Today I have a baby shawl. I also have one in baby pink which I hope to get blocked over the weekend, Iāve got a cream one on my needles and there will be a white one.

Morning all, getting chilly in the mornings now and the heating came on yesterday, brrr.
Bad night again this time cramp I think it could be the Statins as one of the side effects. Tonic water helps though and normally works quite quickly.

Great chat yesterday about hallmarking, I still get a thrill when my makes come back with my makers mark on them as well as the hallmarks not sent anyting for for a bit due to covid, but I have a nice little stack of bangles building up, will probably hang on until towards the middle of September so they are back just in time for Christmas stock
