Gosh what a day and night. Got a call from my son at 2 this morning to say he had fallen down the stairs and couldnāt put any weight on his right ankle could I take him to the hospital. Off we went and sat in A&E where he was triaged, then seen by a doctor, then taken for x-ray, back to A&E to see doctor again. He has a badly sprained ankle with some ligament damage. We eventually go back to my house about 10 this morning. Had a few hours sleep and then back to his house to make it manageable for him as he is now on crutches.

Itās a beautiful day here for the 1st of September and Iāve been for a lovely walk in the Peak district with a friend.
I followed the thread last month even though I didnāt take part and participated in all the cakes that were on offer! I also sympathised or celebrated with everyoneās ups and downs.
Good luck to all you school staff out there on returning to school and with those whose children are back at school. It will be strange but Iām sure everything will turn out ok. As a retired Foundation Stage teacher I hope that those little ones are back to a normal environment of play and interaction.
There have been lots of lovely Autumnal items on here in the last few weeks so here is my new listing

Just sat down after a very busy training day at my nursery school.

Thank you! @DashHaberdashery everything techy that Iāve tried to do today has gone haywire so I stepped away from my laptop (and Iām gonna blame the full moon!).
