Hello all. Hope itā€™s OK for me to join in again in Dec. Apologies for the long silence in the second half of Nov - I was visiting my eldest son and family in San Francisco for the Thanksgiving holiday. Lovely weather, coastal walks, a steam train ride and a couple of days exploring the city. Now weā€™re jet lagged, rather cold and missing the twins - but hope they might get over here sometime next year! Max @paperchainsandbeads, I have three sales to report for the December tally - a promising start! Wishing you all lots of sales this month.

Thanks for all the lovely and kind comments about my son yesterday, :purple_heart::purple_heart::purple_heart: I havenā€™t actually told him that I told everyone on here! I think he may be embarrassed if I did! Heā€™s one of those kind and caring people that wouldnā€™t want the whole world to know what he did.

Afternoon

Grey, wet and miserable out there, I much prefer the blue skies, sun and cold frosty days. It is a bit warmer though, so good for when your boiler conks!!!

Spent the morning taking my daughterā€™s trash to the tip; she said it was ā€˜ready to go.ā€™ I spent an hour getting it ready to go in my car but at the tip I was surprised how quiet it was. I expected long lines getting rid of their stuff ready for Christmas. What do they know that I donā€™t know?
Anyway, a new dish to list today

Good evening everyone :slight_smile: Been to a fair today - it was quite successful. Itā€™s a two day event - so Iā€™ll be back there tomorrow. It was so quiet for the first hour that I almost packed up and came home but after that it was heaving. The walkways between stalls were so narrow ( we couldnā€™t stand behind the stalls as tables were back to back) that when people wanted to walk by I had to literally press myself up against my table. It was actually really not very nice when one quite large gentleman needed to get by and had to press himself into me - it wasnā€™t his fault at all but I did feel a bit violated!
That combined with a raging toothache made for quite a difficult day but the rewards were good :slight_smile:
